Description
Hugo Reed and Associates, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Civil Engineering team in Lubbock, Texas.
HRA is looking for an EIT with 1-3 years of experience and a strong interest with roadway design projects to join our team in Lubbock, TX.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Perform roadway design tasks including horizontal and vertical alignment design, grading, utility coordination, and drainage analysis,
- Preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates,
- Attending project meetings and assist Project Manager with meeting agendas, notes, and meeting minutes.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience working on roadway design projects
- Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering
- Engineer-In-Training certification
- Working knowledge of Microstation/OpenRoads Designer/Geopak
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and self-initiative to meet project goals and deadlines
